The 2019 BEST OF HOME STAGING Nominees have received notification of their recognition as the best in the Home Staging Industry in three possible categories: Staging Excellence, Client Care Excellence and Industry Leadership.
What does this recognition mean and who receives it?
IAHSP (www.iahsp.com) is the world’s LARGEST and LONGEST RUNNING Home Staging Industry Association with thousands of members in over 20 different countries! Since 1999, IAHSP has set standards for Education, Excellence and Ethics for the Home Staging industry around the world. IAHSP issued the very first industry recognition awards in 2003. Since then, it has been our pleasure to continue the tradition of acknowledging talented and dedicated industry members. We want Home Staging Pros to be recognized by a Home Staging entity – and that is why the Best of Home Staging was created.
The Best of Home Staging is not a ranking. It is not specific to one association or country. It encompasses ALL professionals in the industry, regardless of their affiliation and is without bias. The Best of Home Staging is deserving RECOGNITION for those in the industry who are working to advance the professionalism of Home Staging in their work, with their clients and how they serve their fellow industry colleagues. Staging Excellence: This recognition is for a professional Home Stager who demonstrates excellent skill in Home Staging with how their properties are Staged. Understanding placement, use of color, and working within limitations such as budget and timeframe, these industry pros show time and time again why they are the go-to Stager for clients in their market. Their talent is reflected in the tasteful way they arrange a room so it best fitst with the goal of selling a house. Whether using their own furniture and decor, a third-party resource, or the homeowner’s furnishings, the end result is a marketable product that attracts the target buyer to help the property sell in the quickest time and at the best price.
Customer Service: This recognition is for a professional Home Stager who demonstrates great care in working with their clients. The testimonials they receive reflect their understanding of Home Staging as a PEOPLE business. We work and interact with people and impact their lives with our talent and time. Even though our goal is to create a visually pleasing property that appeals to buyers, ultimately what we do is SERVE others with our time, talent, and care.
Industry Leadership: This recognition is for those industry members who go above their personal businesses and find a way to serve others and lead the industry to new heights of professionalism. These are industry members who serve in leadership within one of the industry associations, whether at the local, national or international level. They can be Home Staging educators, business coaches, business mentors, marketing professionals. It could also be an individual who is setting the example and pace for others who come after them in their city, state or country. They have proven themselves to be reliable, resourceful, dedicated and give of their time, often without remuneration, with the sole purpose of advancing the success and professionalism of the industry.
In all categories, peers can nominate their colleagues or an industry pro can self-nominate – and the submittals provide wonderful reasons why a particular person belongs in one, two or all three of the recognition categories. We will be sharing the complete list of all recipients with the public and congratulate all those who have received a nomination for the Best of Home Staging 2019.
